Canadian Bacon (1995)

I wanted to like this movie. I started out having good feelings about it, moments where I just laughed right out loud. I wanted to believe it had lots of potential, mostly because I love Michael Moore, in all his arrogance....but this just didn't do a thing for me. The acting was great...the plot was amusing enough, but it just got too goofy for me, and I got bored pretty quick. I ended up reading during a great deal of it towards the end, so I can't even tell you exactly what happened. Maybe someday if its on again, I will give it another shot, but I doubt it. I have read great things about it from some people, so maybe I was just not in the mood....but I thought it was kind of lame.
