Paper Clips (2004)

I know, I am a sap for these kinds of feel good documentaries...this one I had been looking forward to for a long time. I had seen the preview before something else a long time ago, and then it just never seemed to happen, never found it at the movies, never found it on video...then lo and behold one day its on HBO...so I finally watch it, and its everything I wanted it to be! Awesome, its about a group of kids in a small very white Tennessee town that as part of their study of the Holocaust, try to collect 6 million paper clips representing the 6 million Jews killed by the Nazis. Its just an incredible journey, they get such an amazing response and really get to experience learning so much about prejudice. Its an incredible journey, and I recommend it to families of all ages. Its such an incredible story (wait, did I say that already) I think everyone can take something away from a movie this honest, and beautiful. Great stuff...
