Happy Endings (2005)

This is my second attempt at watching this, I had to return it once without watching it. When I checked it out this time, the employee at the video store told me that he thought it was good. I love when the employees have actually heard of, or seen movies like this, it always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. I thought this movie was awesome. I really like Maggie Gyllenhall, she does seem to gravitate towards similar characters, but I still like her anyway. It was very interesting seeing Tom Arnold in a role like this, and surprisingly pulled it off. I was amused when someone on screen was watching TV and one of the movies on the TIVO list was "Secretary", I thought that was a cute trick! I thought this movie was entertaining and interesting, I loved the side bar type comments during the movie, I thought that was fun and original. I did think it was a bit long, but I didn't really get bored.
