Holiday (1938) Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn
Wow. I totally loved this movie. I have been in the mood to watch Cary Grant lately, and this was one I hadn't seen before. I loved it!! I always enjoy watching the great chemistry between these two, both such spectacular comic performers. I can't think of anyone these days who can compare to the two of them. Ian came in while I was watching and said "something is wrong Mama, there isn't any color" I explained that whole black/white thing to him, and he was still confused, he wanted to know if the world looked like that, you know, back when the Titanic sank? Without any color?? He cracks me right up! In any case, this was a great movie even for today, especially the part that focused on the materialism of society, that of course, has only gotten worse.
