Its All About Love (2003)

Okay, I seriously did not get this movie. Maybe I was too tired to watch it, or maybe I just wasn't in the mood for something this "cutting edge" or whatever it was supposed to be. The premise was somewhere along the lines of Joaquin Phoenix (one of my absolute favorite men on earth)finding out they had cloned his soon to be ex-wife (Claire Danes, also a favorite) so they could get her to continue with her skating career while getting rid of her (or because her heart was already giving out) There was a sub plot of things going wrong in the rest of the world: snow in July, flying people, people falling down in the streets and dying of broken hearts, etc...but I never really felt it tying all together. During the course of the movie, we also see Sean Penn talking to Joaquin Phoenix on the phone giving brilliant insight and advice. I thought it was pretty much a waste of my hour and 45 minutes last night. It was nice to see the boys though. They are always nice to watch!
