Another documentary, and this is actually a repeat viewing for me. I watched it a few months back, but wanted to refresh my memory about it. For the most part I really liked this. It is a documentary about an urban legend back in the early 1980's, that was basically a cautionary tale to keep kids from exploring abandoned buildings near and around a closed down mental institution on Staten Island. The legend was that an escaped patient was snatching children. But when children actually started disappearing (and one of them was a 13 year old girl with Down Syndrome) the story became a little more real and a little scarier. This film was creepy. No doubt about it. When they were exploring the empty abandoned buildings, I admit, I was scared, and I was just watching! At first I wasn't even sure if it was a documentary, I thought it might have been another Blair Witch type thing....but it was real. Decent, worth watching if you are into that documentaries for sure, and maybe if you just like creepy stuff :)
