This was an interesting, very short (69 minutes) documentary. I have mixed feelings about Lewis Black. Sometimes I find him hysterically funny and right on the money. Sometimes his anger annoys me. I am not an angry person by nature. So people that are angry all the time just send out too much negative energy for me, and I get easily annoyed. If I am in the right mood, I find him amusing. My dad really likes him, and of course, I love my Dad, so I always give Lewis Black a chance to entertain me. This was actually pretty good because it wasn't just a stand up DVD. It was more of a biographical documentary. I found it pretty interesting. Also appealing is that some of it was filmed in Detroit at the Fillmore. I always love seeing Detroit and Michigan in movies. I didn't realize that he has been around as long as he has...some of the footage dated back to the 1980's. If you like Lewis Black...you should watch this. Its interesting to know how he got to where he is. If you don't like him...well its still kind of interesting either way. I think biographical documentaries are almost always interesting, no matter who they are about! I am not sure if this is still available for live streaming on Netflix anymore or not. But its worth watching.
